Ingredients

  • 4 Persian cucumbers -or- 1 English cucumber

  • Flavors
  • 1 Tbsp salt

  • 2 tsp soy sauce

  • 2 tsp sugar -or- 1 Tbsp mirin

  • 1 Tbsp Chinese black vinegar

  • 2 tsp chili crisp/oil

  • 1 splash of sesame oil

Directions

  • Smash cucumbers and cut into 1 inch long pieces.
  • Add to a bowl with salt. Toss and let sit for 10 minutes before draining and lightly rinsing.
  • Meanwhile, add the rest of the flavors to a bowl and mix well.
  • Add salted cucumbers to that bowl. Toss and enjoy!
